Inside Out

Inside Out

Horses riding the jockeys, cars on people
Imagination or real, is hard to tell.
This weirdly crazy cat, who will bravely bell?

The neck looks fine from the outside, or not.
The thyroid gland wears an under-active tie
Will multiple nodules finally make it die?

Clothes wearing skeletons doing the ramp walk
The sound of creaking calcium, breaking bad
Healers’ scratching pen on the prescription pad.

The knee replacements now are a piece of cake
Mending torn and ripped pants will be a hard task
Any kind of fabric repair, a big ask.

Shoes and helmets have no demand, obsolete
The vertebrae trapping the superman’s cape
Society now has the same outlook and shape.

Do you scratch the itch with fingers or metal?
Every step you take is a bony wind-chime
Is the sound of creaking bones a serious crime?

I am participating in the Blogchatter Half Marathon. We are team Piyush’s Plotters 🙂
