The NaPoWriMo challenge is to write a poem a day for the month of April.
Roxy’s triumph
Roxy and Emilio met one night.
She looked sensational,
but he was a sorry sight.
Her heart bled, at his plight.
Emilio hung his head in shame,
and inaudibly, muttered her name.
Glancing at his bent head,
Roxy gently but firmly, said,
“You and I were never meant to be,
I forgive you and set you free.”

This is sad and touching! Good one.
This punched me in the gut for some reason. Powerful Sulekha. I need to find the others parts to this.
Tameka, Emilio broke her heart 🙁 thanks. I have put the links of the earlier three parts on this post.
Oooo…when I saw Roxy's triumph, I should've known it was another kind of strength she has shown.
Roxy sounds like me though…hmmm…
Melissa, women are stronger than men, even in the animal world. 🙂 thanks…
