And since it’s Saturday – here’s the 100 Words on Saturday 2014 – 7 prompt:
S/he’s the lucky One
My story in exactly 100 words
Lucky Girl
The demand for a car and diamond jewellery from her future in-laws was too much to bear. It didn’t help that the message was conveyed by her stone-faced fiancé. Rusha walked up to the huge glass windows overlooking the sea from her office. She was Vice President Marketing and Sales of an MNC with its headquarters in Brussels. She made a few calls before leaving and there was a spring in her step and a smile on her lips, she isn’t getting married, instead is going to Brussels as President Marketing. She’s the lucky one.
