Welcome to my space.
This is my fourth time at #AtoZChallenge and my theme this year is Sparky. You can read about my theme in detail here.
Blogging From A To Z Challenge (April 2015)
It was the year 2003, a pleasant November afternoon in Kochi, Kerala, India. We heard little Sonu’s voice, excitedly calling out to us from the front lawn.
“Shloka, Kartik, Aunty, Uncle, come soon. Our Spooky (Dalmatian) is going to give babies.”
Before she had finished her sentence, both my kids were out of the door and off to Sukhi aunty’s house. By the time I managed to reach my friend’s place, her pet had already delivered 6 healthy puppies. The kids were ecstatic to see the tiny puppies and marveled at the fact that they were so tiny that they fit into the palm of Sukhi aunty’s hand. The pups looked white, minus their trademark spots.
I could see the longing in my daughter’s eyes and so could Sukhi. She didn’t say anything at the time because she knew how much I feared dogs, well what happened in the next couple of days is another story altogether 🙂

It was an emotional one month before I gave in 🙂

I love this challenge, my 4th one. Thanks for your visit.
Cute doggies.. i can understand. my sons have been asking for a dog for the longest time. I love dogs too but the keeping them in a flat really puts me off.
Thanks Lata, it is not easy denying your kids what they so desperately want. We got Sparky when we were living in a palatial bungalow, but moved into a flat after five years. You can do it too 🙂
So cute – I want to know more 🙂
I will tell you her story from A to Z 🙂
