Nothingness
The maze of wires as far as I can see
Carrying currents of electricity
Like scrambled neurons in the brains
Unreserved commuters perching on trains.
Tragic drama of life- blocked brains, locked paths
Inconsistent acts, Incoherent thoughts
Uncaring of lies, unmindful of facts
Unclog and unleash the torrent of thoughts.
Life is a cherished gift and a treasure
Stay your course do not give in to pressure
With each step in the right you can measure
Agony of pain, beauty of pleasure.
The maze of wires as far as I can see
Carrying currents of electricity
Like scrambled neurons in the brains
Unreserved commuters perching on trains.

Fabulous poem. I loved how the second stanza flowed. A sort of urgency in them, made me read it again. Liked the analogy of train and life.
Rajlakshmi, my daughter too loved the second stanza. She said it reads like a rap song. 🙂
I like the comparison between the maze of wires carrying electricity and the neurons. You are quite a poet, Sulekha!
Vinitha, my science background came in use here :). Thanks for your lovely comment.
