Blogging From A to Z Challenge (April 2016)

The theme I’ve chosen for this year’s blogging challenge is ‘Travel’, and in keeping with my  theme I have taken you along on my fun trips to various places to date. Some of my travel destinations are inaccessible by air, land and water and an active imagination is what you need for going to these out of the world destinations. Yesterday a poem found me

Walking out in the rain

He hugged me tight

It felt Oh so right.

It ‘s been so long

Missed him so much

Longed to hear his voice

And feel his tender touch

I am not to blame

If my cries were loud

My heartbeats fast

And my soul aflame

My poem and I

Met after long

Distances could not

Break our bond

The words embraced me

The verses lovingly smiled

Stanzas danced with joy

The couplet revived me.
