You look at my face
Devoid of any emotion
I wait patiently.
How my hand had felt in yours
I miss your warm touch
Some days I recall
The times we spent together
Today I am blank

Such a touching post, it sums up the disease so eloquently.
The images are a perfect match.
Thank you so much for your visit and such a lovely comment.
Wow..lovely flow of emotions!
Welcome to my blog and thanks for your compliment 🙂
A truly touching post. I know of some people afflicted by the disease. It pains me when they fail to recognize even their dear and near ones especially their children.
It is so sad to see loved ones struggling with this illness. Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving this lovely comment.
full of emotions..You have captured it so well
Thanks Nabanita.
It is indeed touching Sulekha! My father is suffering from dementia where he has problem in remembering the names and numbers. Thankfully my brother and his wife keep stimulating his mind with their brain games and puzzles, which helps in his condition to stay stable.
Swati, Sad to know, it is heartbreaking to see our parents go through this. My mom had a temporary memory loss and she would repeat things, she didn’t recognize me once and I was crushed to see her confusion. God bless your brother and bhabhi who are taking such good care of your father, take care.
