Hungry Soul
My Soul is hungry for you,
there is total chaos.
it’s messing with my,
feelings for you.
Ever since you’ve gone away,
so far away, from me.
It misses your touch,
and is slowly rotting away.
Souls need a lot of love,
to survive, in a state of bliss.
They just can’t do without,
pure affection and,
their soul mate’s kiss.
Kiss of passionate expression,
of tender emotions,
of deep rooted love and care.
It can do wonders for a soul,
cover it with it’s soothing shade,
protect from sorrow’s harsh glare.
My soul is crying out your name,
It has been for decades.
When will you hear my plea?
When will you understand me?
I miss your presence near me,
need your love to soothe me.
Want your arms around me,
need your lips to revive me.
I need your warmth,
to thaw me,
Want your heat,
to burn me.
Long to hear you say,
you love and miss me,
and are finally,
coming home to me.
