I think I should write my memoir soon.
Before I forget all that has gone by.
Some bits I will shout, others I will croon.
In my final moments, I dare not lie.
Where do I begin, how much should I say?
There have been ups and downs in my story.
Can I be honest and write, come what may?
I should let it all out and not worry.
My tales will make you laugh and at times cry.
Bittersweet moments filled with many hues.
You can’t unread me even if you try.
I have lived a good life and paid my dues.
My memories will live on long after.
A few quiet tears mingled with laughter.
