My Journey With Likhega India Mission

I was a student at Jai Hind College, Mumbai, long before most of my fellow authors from Likhega India Mission were even born. The year was 1981 and I was young and crazy, like Sweta mentioned in her speech at the LIM Conclave. 🙂 I loved the college motto, “I Will and I Can”, and felt I could do anything I set my mind to. It has brought me here to the LIM family and made me a part of this historic achievement at the young age of sixty-two. I am a proud world record author, and my journey has just begun. ‘I will and I can’ has helped me conquer my fears and led me on to the path of success by overcoming limitations and believing I can reach up and touch the sky.

I am so glad I clicked on the link to join the Likhega India mission by India Authors Academy. I learnt a lot by being a part of this group of crazy people who believed anything was possible if we were disciplined, focused and consistent in our efforts. Sweta and Manish Samota are the charioteers who ably guided us to this pinnacle of success. Like Manish said, ‘We didn’t just celebrate a record, we celebrated discipline, belief, and collective effort. From an idea to 13 focused subgroups, to 774 published authors creating history, this journey has been nothing short of extraordinary. The world record is achieved and recognized by India Book of Records and Asia Book of Records!’.

Congratulations to us all.

I wrote my first novel after enrolling in the Likhega India Mission and enjoyed the process of writing it within 45 days. My book, The House of Healing Light will always be special as it has made me a World Record Author.

I have started jotting down ideas for my next book and hope to begin writing it soon. Until then, take care and be kind always.
