Maiden Trip to the North-East #writebravely

Have you visited Guwahati, Shillong and Cherrapunjee? I have πŸ™‚ I have been on the road since the 24th of October 2017. My trip started with a flight to Guwahati and then cab rides to Shillong and Cherrapunjee. In all the excitement of travelling to the Northeast and enjoying the beauty of this lovely part of India, I almost missed the deadline to post my article for the ongoing #writetribeproblogger blogging challenge.

Today, I will share pictures of some of the beautiful places I visited during my maiden visit to the Northeast.

Alfresco Grand cruise on the Brahmaputra river in Guwahati.

Kamakhya Temple, Guwahati, Assam

Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary
Don Bosco Museum, Mawlai, Shillong
Limestone Caves, Cherrapunjee

Nohkalikai Falls, Cherrapunjee

Here’s me signing Off from Shillong 😎😶

I am taking part in The Write Tribe Problogger October 2017 Blogging Challenge. Linking this post to Day 8 of the challenge.

  1. VT and I want to travel the North East and explore the entire region. It’s the beauty there that draws us. So glad you are there and taking the trip. Have fun! Loved your pictures.

  2. You brought back so many memories with your pictures. Love these beautiful captures. Brahmaputra looks so serene… My hometown is near to its bank. Shillong is a beauty in itself. Love the simplicity of life there.

    1. Raj, you are so lucky! I loved our cruise on the Brahmaputra, it is so majestic. Wonder how you can stay away from the beautiful place πŸ™‚ I agree, the entire region is amazingly beautiful and the people are very nice too.
