Mine

Delusion

The NaPoWriMo challenge is to write a poem a day for the month of April.

Was it all in my head?

Was it entirely my fault?

Was my crazy mind,

playing cruel tricks on me.

Did I hear something,

which was never said?

Did I imagine it all?

Was any of it real?

Please correct me,

if I am wrong.

I don’t want to be,

somewhere , I don’t,

absolutely belong.

Put me out of my misery.

Either reach out to me,

Or brush my hand away.

Either don’t let me go,

OR,

Never ask me to stay.

    1. Andy, Communication is the key in any relationship. Thank you for visiting and for your comment.

  1. Miscommunication makes us feel like we're the crazy ones instead of the other way around! :p Love this, Sulekha!

  2. It is so often the case. It is so frustrating sometimes when the person on the other side does not understand what we are going through. I could sense it in this poem, the hair pulling desperateness is trying to be heard and understood
