Mine

Comfortably Numb

The NaPoWriMo challenge is to write a poem a day for the month of April.

Cold hands, Icy limbs,

frozen heart and soul,

in this desert of loneliness.

Chilled to the bone,

in this vast scorching,

wilderness of abandonment.

Icicles frame my soul,

under the harsh,

neglectful Sun’s rays.

I am guarding my sanity,

by keeping myself,

Comfortably Numb.

    1. Dazediva, Welcome once again and thank you for your another lovely compliment. Poetry is such a pure creative outlet and I love writing poems. I have jumped in with both eyes closed and am participating in two challenges and loving them both.
I am at @Sulekkha on twitter.

    1. Andy, Challenges make you dig deep and write your thoughts, love them. Thank you for visiting and commenting, I can see your enjoyment in your work too.
